About Fencing
Olympic fencing -- or, as it's commonly known, fencing -- is a sport using one of three kinds of bladed weapons: foil, épée, and saber. Each weapon has its own rules and regulations. Fencing has its roots in dueling, and it is one of only five sports that have been included in every single modern Olympics, the other four being athletics, cycling, swimming, and gymnastics.
